Om Festivalen
Göteborgs Dans & Teater Festival är en av Nordens mest intressanta festivaler för nutida scenkonst. Festivalen presenterar internationella gästspel och en betydande svensk och nordisk sektion av högsta kvalitet. Genom Open Lab och workshops med medverkande konstnärer, samt fördjupningsseminarier bidrar festivalen till konstnärlig utveckling i regionen och Norden.
Festivalen arrangeras sedan 1994 av Göteborgs Stads kulturförvaltning, 2012 är den 10:e festivalen. Festivalen som från starten har ägt rum vartannat år blir från 2012 årlig.
Nästa Festival äger rum 18-27 maj 2012.
About the Festival
Göteborgs Dans & Teater Festival is one of the most interesting festivals for contemporary performing arts in the Nordic countries. The program contains both international companies as well as a comprehensive Swedish and Nordic program within the fields of contemporary dance, theatre, and other performing arts. The program also includes a series of talks and workshops, film screenings, and an Open Lab.
The festival has been arranged by the Cultural Department of Göteborg since 1994, and has until now been biannual. From 2012 the festival will take place every year.
The next festival takes place May 18-27 2012.
